This conference is hosted by the UN Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), as part of the World EXPO Future Energy Forum. It will bring together renewable energy experts, innovators, practitioners, investors, members of international organizations and NGO representatives. This conference aims to provide a platform to connect, share and mobilize today's renewable energy concepts that secure tomorrow's quality of life for the 1.2 billion people without energy access. The agenda comprises keynotes and speeches, panel discussions, workshops, as well as elevator pitches of innovative CleanTech enterprises that provide access to energy for all. It will focus on renewable energy and emerging technologies as enablers to alleviate poverty, promote gender equality, provide affordable and clean energy and combat climate change, ultimately enhancing global quality of life.
