This International Energy Agency (IEA) workshop aims to investigate how key stakeholders in finance, policy and industry can work together to deliver contributions expected from renewables to energy security and climate change mitigation. This workshop will bring together decision makers from these sectors to discuss, among others: how adaptation and energy security are related; short-term market prospects; policy appropriateness from the perspectives of the regulated; and industry’s ability to scale up needed technologies.
