Organized by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), this workshop addresses barriers to access financing for geothermal energy in African countries and dissemination of best practices and innovative models to finance operations and mitigate financial risks. Participants from governments, utilities and relevant public authorities will also have the opportunity to learn about IRENA's technical guidelines for geothermal energy and the IRENA Project Navigator with a focus on development risks.
