This workshop is organized by the Secretariat of the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm Conventions in cooperation with the Basel Convention Coordinating Centre for the African Region in Nigeria (BCCC-Africa), with funding by the European Union (EU), African Union (AU) and the Partnership for Action on Computing Equipment (PACE). It seeks to train national officials from 30 African countries who are responsible and/or involved in the e-waste management process at the national level, specifically in the issued related to the Basel Convention.
