Organized by the UN Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) with funding from the EU and Germany’s Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), this event will look at the nexus concept, its connection to the SDGs, its features in Latin America and the Caribbean and the difficulties in implementing it there, national case studies and regional priorities.

The second day will focus on a proposal for public policy guidelines for better management of nexus linkages and a regional plan of action toward that end.

The dialogue will be followed by a two-day training workshop on the issue organized by GIZ.
