UNECE member States and key stakeholders will gather for the Regional Forum on Sustainable Development for the UNECE Region to discuss implementation of the 2030 Agenda.

The meeting aims to contribute a regional angle to the theme of the July 2019 session of the UN High-level Political Forum (HLPF), 'Empowering people and ensuring inclusiveness and equality'.

Stakeholders from governments, civil society, academia and the private sector will share their experiences and discuss concrete solutions on how to meet the SDGs that will be reviewed in-depth at the HLPF, namely Goals 4 (quality education), 8 (decent work and economic growth), 10 (reduced inequalities), 13 (climate action) and 16 (peace, justice and strong institutions).
