Convened by the UN Global Compact and UN partners, the Private Sector Forum will provide a platform for the private sector to demonstrate climate change solutions and progress underway and foster an intergenerational dialogue and public-private partnerships (PPPs). The Forum will elevate corporate climate champions from various sectors to support mitigation and adaptation policies that enable a just transition of global economy to a net zero future by 2050.
This year, the Private Sector Forum will be held as the high-level luncheon of the UN Secretary-General’s Climate Action Summit. The Forum takes place during Global Goals Week 2019.
