The Climate Investment Funds (CIF) will convene a six-day event to address the future of climate action. Speakers include environment and energy ministers from African countries and small island developing States (SIDS), high-level representatives from multilateral development banks (MDBs), Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL), CIF, the private sector and think tanks.
The first two days of the meeting will be dedicated to the theme, ‘Power of 10: Shaping the Future of Climate Action.’ These will be followed by field trips, a joint meeting of the Clean Technology Fund (CTF) and Strategic Climate Fund (SCF) Trust Fund Committees, and meetings of the CTF Trust Fund Committee, Scaling Up Renewable Energy Program in Low Income Countries (SREP) Sub-Committee, Pilot Program for Climate Resilience (PPCR) Sub-Committee and Forest Investment Program (FIP) Sub-Committee.
The event is organized with support from the African Development Bank (AfDB), Asian Development Bank (ADB), European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and World Bank Group.
