This event is being organized by the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), in partnership with the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA), Stakeholder Forum and the Green Economy Coalition. The objective is to provide an opportunity for major groups and stakeholders to: discuss the outcomes of the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20); agree on actions to accelerate these outcomes; and address areas where no progress or agreement was made. Participants will also discuss and agree on input to the UNEP Governing Council/Global Ministerial Environment Forum in February 2013, and the 20th Session of the Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD 20) in May 2013.
