The Marshall Islands and the NDC Partnership will co-host a Partnership Dialogue on the implementation of the country’s existing 2025 Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) and the development of its 2050 Strategy.
The Partnership Dialogue will bring together existing and new global, regional and local partners to support the Marshall Islands in responding to climate change through the development of a results-based Partnership Plan, which will respond to the country’s key priorities for NDC implementation in the next few years.
The Dialogue will showcase the potential of the Marshall Islands to act as a “lighthouse” to other countries regionally and globally, including through its convening of the High Ambition Coalition and its incoming chairmanship of the Climate Vulnerable Forum (CVF), to enhance their NDCs and to adopt transformational 2050 Strategies with a net zero vision.
