This special event will take place during the High-level Political Forum for Sustainable Development (HLPF). 

Noting that the overarching objectives of the SDG – eliminating poverty, fostering just societies, and securing the sustainability of the planet – are mostly off track, the event will focus on the theme, 'The Big Reset: Learning from COVID-19.' It aims to examine the structural and systemic factors that may explain the SDGs’ mixed record.

This event is being organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
