The Basel Convention Regional Centre for the Caribbean Region (BCRC-Caribbean) and the Caribbean Network of Telecommunications Organisations (CANTO) will co-host a forum during CANTO's 30th Annual General Meeting on creating an enabling environment for the sound management of electrical and electronic equipment waste (e-waste) in the Caribbean Region, namely through the development of regional take-back systems for e-waste generated solely by the information, computer and telecommunications (ICT) sector and its affiliated markets.
