The UN Development Programme (UNDP) is organizing this workshop with support from the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS). The workshop will consider lessons learned from the experience of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in the Pacific over the last 14 years, and provide an overview of the post-2015 development agenda and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) processes, including their means of implementation, and proposed monitoring and accountability mechanisms.
