Pacific Climate Change Roundtable (PCCR) 2015

The 2015 PCCR, a bi-annual meeting of regional and national governments, organizations and donors involved in climate change activities in the Pacific, aims to: update the region on the latest climate change science and finance issues and their implications for the region and the UNFCCC negotiations; review implementation of the Pacific Islands Framework for Action on Climate Change (PIFACC) against its agreed monitoring and evaluation indicators; strengthen networking, partnerships and collaborations among Pacific Island Countries and Territories (PICTs) and their partners on climate change and sustainable development; and discuss the Strategy for Climate and Disaster Resilient Development Plan (SRDP). Following the meeting, Pacific Island countries will hold a closed preparatory meeting on 15 May 2015 for the June 2015 UNFCCC negotiations.
