The Fourth Thematic Consultation on the UN Secretary-General’s report on “Our Common Agenda” will be held on the theme “Protecting our planet and being prepared for the future.” The goal of this consultation is to receive feedback from Member States on the proposals in “Our Common Agenda” relating to among other things, climate finance, green finance, future generations, and health.

This consultation is the fourth in a series of five open, inclusive, informal thematic consultations convened by the President of the General Assembly on the UN Secretary-General’s report on “Our Common Agenda.” The objective of the five thematic consultations is to identify those initiatives that gather broad support among Member States and whose implementation could start during the resumed part of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly, including by agreeing on possible means of implementation, and those initiatives that would need further consideration.
