OECD Global Forum on Development 2017

The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) will hold its 2017 Global Forum on Development on the theme of 'Working together to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals' (SDGs). The Forum aims to address the gap between actual and desired level of investments to achieve the SDGs, which the OECD says requires resolute engagement from the private sector, notably through partnerships with the private sector. Participants will take stock of existing initiatives to catalyze the power of the private sector in supporting the SDGs, explore new avenues of partnerships to mobilize the necessary resources and understand how the OECD can help.
