OECD DAC Green Growth and Development Workshop

This Organisation of Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Development Assistance Committee (DAC) workshop will offer an interactive platform for discussion of the relevance of green growth to developing countries. It will involve four chaired roundtable discussions on: how a green growth lens could be applied to development on the way to the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20); the potential impacts of a global green growth transition on developing and least developed countries; how green growth short-run costs and technology requirements can be met; and opportunities for green growth to influence discussions at UNFCCC COP 17 in December 2011 in Durban, South Africa.
