This consultation on the post-2015 development agenda aims to include youth from China, Japan, Republic of Korea and Mongolia. Participants will consider lessons learned from the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and ideas for a future global development framework. The consultation is expected to produce a declaration on “The World They Want” on behalf of Northeast Asian youth that will be shared with leaders from Northeast Asia. The UN Development Programme (UNDP) Seoul Policy Centre, the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific’s (UNESCAP) Sub-Regional Office for East and North-East Asia, the UN Global Compact Korea Network and Korea University are the event co-hosts.
