Organized by the International Energy Agency's (IEA) Implementing Agreement for a Cooperating Programme on Efficient Electrical End-Use Equipment (4E), and Standby Power/Super-efficient Equipment and Appliance Deployment (SEAD), this workshop aims to explore current practices and new approaches in the area of networked standby power consumption and related fields. Participants will engage in discussions on, among others, information communication technology (ICT) related energy use, future developments in the area of ICT and network-based communication protocols, smart appliances, and state of the art and pipeline technologies.
