Stakeholders from Least Developed Countries (LDCs), other developing countries, and supporting agencies and organizations will gather for the second National Adaptation Plan (NAP) Expo. The event will take place over two days to: act as a platform for stakeholders to exchange experiences, lessons learned and ideas on the NAP process; mobilize action and support for the creation and implementation of NAPs; share technical knowledge, including on methods, data and tools; and assess needs that should be filled in order to implement the NAP process effectively and to further inform the bodies supporting these processes. The LDC Expert Group (LEG) is organizing the Expo, with support from the UNFCCC Secretariat and an advisory group consisting of, inter alia, representatives from the Adaptation Committee and its Task Force on NAPs, GEF agencies, bilateral agencies and international organizations. The first NAP Expo was held in June 2013.
