NAP Expo 2020 [Postponed]

The NAP Expo was scheduled to take place from 30 March to 3 April 2020, in Botswana. It has been postponed till further notice, considering the ongoing coronavirus situation.

In 2020, NAP Expo will convene for the seventh time since 2013.

The event is organized by the Least Developed Countries (LDC) Expert Group (LEG) under the UNFCCC, in collaboration with various bodies and organizations, to promote exchange of experiences and foster partnerships between a wide range of actors and stakeholders on how to advance National Adaptation Plans (NAPs).

The NAP process was established under the Cancun Adaptation Framework (CAF). It enables Parties to formulate and implement NAPs as a means of identifying medium- and long-term adaptation needs and developing and implementing strategies and programmes to address those needs.
