22-26 August 2022 Gaborone, South-East, Botswana
NAP Expo 2022

Convening for the seventh time since 2013, the NAP Expo will be held under the overall theme, ‘Transformations to Adapt.’ The event features a mix of plenary and thematic sessions, workshops, demonstrations, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to catalyze the promotion and creation of transformative approaches, ideas, and practices in climate change adaptation. It is organized by the Least Developed Countries (LDC) Expert Group (LEG) under the UNFCCC, in collaboration with various bodies and organizations, to promote exchange of experiences and foster partnerships between a wide range of actors and stakeholders on how to advance National Adaptation Plans (NAPs).

The NAP Expo is convening as part of Botswana Global Adaptation Week 2022. The event was originally scheduled to take place from 30 March to 3 April 2020 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
