4-6 April 2018 Sharm el-Sheikh, South Sinai, Egypt
NAP Expo 2018

NAP Expo 2018 will convene under the theme ‘Advancing National Adaptation Plans.’ It will consist of keynote sessions, featuring talks from high-level experts and policymakers; thematic breakout sessions on selected topics related to National Adaptation Plans (NAPs); and special sessions on NAPs organized by the Least Developed Countries (LDCs) Expert Group (LEG) and partner organizations addressing technical issues on specific topics on NAPs.

The NAP process was established under the Cancun Adaptation Framework (CAF). It enables Parties to formulate and implement NAPs as a means of identifying medium- and long-term adaptation needs and developing and implementing strategies and programmes to address those needs. The NAP Expo aims to catalyze actions and support for the NAP process. It is conducted by the LEG and supported by the UNFCCC Secretariat in collaboration with relevant organizations.
