The First meeting of the UNECE/FAO Team of Specialists on Monitoring Sustainable Forest Management will be convened by the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) Forestry and Timber Section and will provide advice on data, monitoring and assessment of forests and sustainable forest management (SFM) as well as the role of the forest sector in the green economy.
