The UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) will organize a seminar for Palestinian officials on the theme, ‘Means of Implementing the Environmental Dimension of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in Palestine.’ The seminar will bring together members of the Palestinian technical task force responsible for coordinating implementation of environment-related SDGs, led by the Environment Quality Authority of Palestine.

The seminar aims to strengthen participants’ capacity on: approaches for implementing the environmental dimension of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in Palestine; aligning national development plans with related SDGs; and tools for monitoring environmental SDG implementation progress in term of indicators and relevant reporting systems.
