The UN Environment Management Group (EMG) and UN Development Group (UNDG) will hold an event ahead of the Second Intersessional Meeting for the UNCSD to launch the EMG's UN green economy report, titled “Working together towards a balanced and inclusive green economy: A UN system-wide perspective,” as well as a UNDG country survey on UN country teams' collaboration with host countries ahead of Rio+20. The EMG report provides a multi-sectoral perspective on green economy and the capacities of several UN system agencies in supporting States in the transition to an inclusive green economy.
