This conference will discuss a national framework for conserving Kenya’s biodiversity, taking into account land use, livelihoods and climate change issues, drawing on international and regional experience from neighboring East African States. Conference partners include the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) and the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD).
