Organized by the Centre for Ecological Research and Hungarian Academy of Science (MTA ÖK) with support from the Hungarian Ministry of Rural Development, this meeting aims to inform the Eastern European biodiversity knowledge community on the Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) process; and provide direct input into the IPBES intersessional consultation by developing recommendations from an Eastern European perspective, on inter alia, the draft work programme 2014-2018.
