Introduction to Resilience for Development

The UN Development Programme (UNDP), in partnership with SwedBio at the Stockholm Resilience Centre, the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), Pronatura, ECOSUR, NBSAP Forum and The Nature Conservancy, is offering a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on the following topic: Introduction to Resilience for Development. The course will be facilitated in English, French, and Spanish, and is offered free of charge. The course is designed for policymakers and practitioners working in the sustainable development and conservation planning sectors.

The course will be organized in two sections. Part 1 will address the theme, 'Understanding Resilience Thinking,' and will take place between 31 October and 27 November 2017. Part 2 will address the theme, 'Applying Resilience Thinking to National Biodiversity and Development Plans,' and will take place between 23 January and 13 February 2018.
