Organized by the UN Office for Sustainable Development (UNOSD), the workshop is following the format of a multi-stakeholder dialogue, and bring together representatives of governments, UN system entities, multilateral and regional development banks, policy think tanks and network, private sector and civil society. The objectives are to: (i) share experiences and lessons learned in implementing sustainable development at national and local levels; (ii) gauge the efficacy and suitability of existing knowledge and capacity building efforts; and (iii) create opportunities for building partnerships in knowledge sharing in the area of planning and implementation of sustainable development.
