This event takes place as part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week and alongside the Future Summit and Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.

Also called WFES Water, the event promotes water sustainability in arid regions, facilitating partnerships to execute the investments in water infrastructure being made across the region. WFES Water showcases the latest innovations in water and wastewater reuse, industrial and municipal water, water desalination, and smart water.

The event is also on the timeline for the biodiversity post2020 process, as the Summit will provide an opportunity to engage with the water sector on how linkages between water and biodiversity can be more effectively integrated into the future post-2020 biodiversity framework.
