International Seminar on Improving Collection and Use of Data on the Socioeconomic Benefits from Forests and Trees

This seminar is organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO), the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) of the CIGAR Consortium, the International Forestry Resources and Institutions (IFRI) Network, the Living Standards Measurement Study (LSMS) team and the Program on Forests (PROFOR). It aims to bring together experts to discuss and promote ways to strengthen the collection and use of data on socioeconomic benefits from forests and trees, including technical aspects, challenges and opportunities related to collection of such information.
