This event will: provide decision-makers from countries in transition with an opportunity to discuss the status of and the way forward in international investment law and policy; encourage new thinking on international investment policies and treaty making; contribute to consensus building on international investment issues and the reform of the International Investment Agreements regime; and enable exchange of experiences regarding the management of investment disputes. The event is being organized by the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the Government of Azerbaijan, among others.
