Through presentations and panel discussions, the Forum will address four main themes: advanced wood processing, markets outlook, forest plantations, and the forest law enforcement, governance and trade (FLEGT) Action Plan and forest certification systems. The Forum is a joint effort by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) the European Union (EU), the International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO), the Commission des Forets d'Afrique Centrale (COMIFAC), the Association Technique Internationale des Bois Tropicaux, with funding from the Government of France and the European Forest Institute (EFI).
