Pope Francis will convene an international conference titled, ‘Saving Our Common Home and the Future of Life on Earth,’ to discuss “concrete steps to save the planet and the life it sustains”. Scheduled to coincide with Pope Francis’s Encyclical ‘Laudato Sì,’ the event will bring together environmental leaders, advocates and leading climate experts to discuss how to “awaken people to the gravity of the situation” and inspire a “massive movement” of cooperative action and moral responsibility.
