UNGA President Miroslav Lajcak will convene an interactive civil society hearing as part of the preparatory process for the high-level meeting on the fight against tuberculosis (TB).

Four panels featuring survivors and other people affected by TB will address: Reaching the unreached: closing gaps in TB diagnosis, treatment, care and prevention; Innovation to end TB: new tools and approaches; Investing to end the world's leading infectious killer; and Partnerships for success – the role of communities in an equitable, person-centered, rights-based response. The list of approved participants was issued on 9 May 2018.
