The UN System Standing Committee on Nutrition (UNSCN) and the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) will hold a joint policy seminar on 'Investment for Nutrition'. The organizers note that the SDGs call for the elimination of all forms of malnutrition, while the Framework for Action of the Second International Conference on Nutrition (ICN2) gives insights in what action can be taken. This event aims to raise attention to the many entry points the food systems offer, and opportunities for investments to positively impact nutrition, including with regard to: healthy food system investments tailored to specific contexts; and nutrition-sensitive agricultural investments. The event can be attended in person or online.
