The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the Montpellier Panel will launch their report, ‘No Ordinary Matter: Conserving, Restoring and Enhancing Africa's Soils' during this event. The report analyzes land management in Africa and provides recommendations for governments and donors on conserving, restoring and enhancing Africa's soils.
Speakers at the launch event include: IFAD President, Kanayo Nwanze; Montpellier Panel Chair, Gordon Conway, who also serves as the Director of the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED); Montpellier Panel Co-Chair Camilla Toulmin; European Commission (EC) Senior Policy Officer, David Radcliffe; and AfricaRice Board Member and Chairman of Agropolis Foundation Board of Directors, Henri Carsalade.
