The High-Level Pledging Conference is an opportunity to demonstrate global commitment to achieve collective climate ambitions. As part of the financial mechanism of the UNFCCC, the Green Climate Fund (GCF) supports developing countries to respond to the climate crisis and transition to low-emission, climate-resilient pathways.
The replenishment process consists of several organizational and consultation meetings with potential contributors, GCF Board Members, the UNFCCC, and observers. A successful replenishment will allow the GCF to invest more funds in an enabling environment for climate action and to drive systemic transition in areas of global concern.
