On 11 January 2018, UNGA President Miroslav Lajcak announced that the Permanent Representatives of Antigua and Barbuda and Japan will co-facilitate the holding of the meeting. On 29 January, he circulated proposed elements for a resolution on the modalities of the meeting, indicating that the meeting could take place 24 or 26 September 2018. The proposed elements will be considered in a consultation on 9 February. More information on the high-level meeting is available here.
