The UN Global Compact, together with UN partners, will convene a High-Level Meeting on Sustainable Ocean Business and the 2030 Agenda, as a stepping stone towards the UN Ocean Conference. The UN Ocean Conference was scheduled to take place in June 2020, but has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Senior executives from business, academia, civil society, the UN and Governments will be invited to participate in a multi-stakeholder dialogue on the role of businesses and governments to ensure a more healthy and productive ocean by 2030.
