High-level Forum for National SDG Coordinators from European and CIS States

The first regional high-level forum for national SDG coordinators will gather officials in charge of national efforts to achieve the SDGs in European and CIS states. Participants will present their experiences in ways to fulfill the 2030 Agenda, and discuss common problems and ways to overcome them. Recommendations may be presented during the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE)-hosted regional forum on sustainable development (RFSD). The government notes that Belarus has adopted a national strategy of sustainable social and economic development until 2030, and appointed Marianna Shchetkina, Vice Speaker of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, as national coordinator for reaching the SDGs.
