This high-level event on ‘Implementing Sustainable Development Goal 7: The Role of partnerships in ensuring access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all' will celebrate the adoption of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 7 on energy and showcase commitments and actions towards the Goal by a wide range of stakeholders, including high-level representatives of governments, international organizations, civil society and the private sector. Commitments are expected to focus on objectives and targets related to energy access, energy efficiency and renewable energy. The meeting, taking place on the sidelines of the UN summit for the adoption of the post-2015 development agenda, will be co-hosted by the UN Secretary-General's Sustainable Energy for All (SE4All) Secretariat and the Government of Denmark. The event will be webcast live at http://webtv.un.org/ and www.se4all.org.
