Building on success of the Education Day at the 22nd session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 22) to the UNFCCC held in Marrakech in 2016, COP 22 Presidency, in partnership with UNFCCC and the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF), will host a high-level event on climate change education for children and youth. Participants will come together to discuss the key role that education and youth play in the implementation of the Paris Agreement on climate change and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and seek to foster the establishment of multi-stakeholder partnerships for climate change education.
This event is taking place as part of Climate Week NYC 2017.
