High-Level Conversation on Employment and Decent Work for Inclusive and Sustainable Development

The International Labour Organization and the Ford Foundation are jointly hosting this afternoon event on creating policies for the creation of decent work, strengthening social protection, and ensuring sustainable development. Hosts from CNN and The Economist will moderate the discussion, which will feature senior government and private sector representatives alongside leaders of international organisations and heads of state from Chile, Costa Rica, Ghana, Kiribati, and Trinidad and Tobago. Amina J. Mohammed, UN Secretary-General's special advisor on post-2015 development planning, and the CEOs of the Coca-Cola Company and the MasterCard Foundation are among the speakers. The event will launch the 'Group of Friends of Decent Work for Sustainable Development'.
