The HFC is an annual forum bringing together international authorities, industry leaders, NGOs, academics, and other interested parties to discuss key issues of global relevance regarding chemicals management and chemicals safety. HCF 2016 will examine such issues as: challenges and opportunities of a circular economy for chemicals regulation; whether a global agreement is needed on management of perfluorinated chemicals (PFCs); global sharing of chemicals data; plant safety; and chemicals in building materials and the construction sector. HCF 2016 is organized by the Chemicals Forum Association, in cooperation with the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), the European Commission, the Finnish Government and others.
