The European Commission (EC) is hosting a conference for public procurers, property owners, banks, investors, insurers, occupants and others to learn about its Communication on Resource Efficiency Opportunities in the Building Sector. The conference will help frame recommendations for the development of a framework to assess the environmental performance of buildings. The event will feature panels on resource efficiency in the building sector, practical examples from the demand-side, sustainable property investment and the way forward. Parallel brainstorming sessions will also take place.
