The second annual Goalkeepers event will take place as world leaders gather for the 73rd UN General Assembly. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation started Goalkeepers as a catalyst for action, bringing leaders from around the world to share what is working, what’s not and to forge new partnerships for action.
Goalkeepers ’18 will begin with the Global Goals Awards ceremony on the evening of 25 September, followed by a daytime event on 26 September.
This meeting is taking part during Global Goals Week 2018, which is a collective effort to maximize the value of events and activations held during the opening of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 73) and focused on driving progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals.
