Coordinated by the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA) and the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC), Global Wind Day is a worldwide event that occurs annually on 15 June, highlighting the wind energy sector in more than 75 countries worldwide. This year, coordinators have organized hundreds of wind energy-related events and activities to mark the day, including opportunities to visit wind farms, meet experts, attend events aiming to increase the public's knowledge about wind energy.
