This global consultation workshop, organized by the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), is expected to discuss access and benefit-sharing under the post-2020 global biodiversity framework, prior to the first meeting of the Open-Ended Working Group on the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework. This workshop is one of the main steps in the development of access and benefit-sharing aspects under the new framework.
