This training module, provided by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), and financed by the Governments of Germany and Flanders, Belgium, is offered by invitation to experts from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region who are involved in national-level planning for renewable energy deployment. The training, organized in several regions in 2014 and 2015, aims to enable policy-makers to better understand the added value of geospatial analysis, including its use in the development of support policies for wind and solar energy deployment.
